Base Solutions Limited is a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Consultancy based in Southeast London, serving both the public and private sectors. With over 25 years of proven expertise across a wide range of industries, we operate in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards. This policy provides the framework for setting quality objectives and uniting our team in achieving them.

This policy is maintained as part of our management system and reviewed at least annually through the management review process to ensure its continuing suitability and effectiveness.

Health and Safety Statement
Base Solutions Limited is committed to ensuring compliance with its legal duty under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, other applicable health and safety legislation and other requirements to ensure the health and safety of its employees, clients, associates and other interested parties affected by relevant activities under the company’s control.
It is the aim of Base Solutions Limited so far as is reasonably practicable to:

Eliminate hazards and reduce any health and safety risks associated with conducting our business.

Set Occupational health & Safety Objectives that will improve the OH&S management system.

Develop a health and safety culture through consultation and participation with our people and developing awareness of their personal responsibilities.

Ensure adequate training and supervision of employees and external resource

Provide and maintain a safe working environment.
To achieve these aims and to demonstrate continual improvement in our management of health and safety, Base Solutions has implemented a safety management system which will be measured by the company’s safety performance and will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Health and Safety Director, who will agree and communicate objectives for continual improvement.
This statement represents our general commitment to provide a safe working environment and informs of our specific policies and practices for health and safety.
This statement has been made available to all our people via our internal systems and to other interested parties upon request, as part of our annual review and updates or via our website.

Environmental Policy Statement of Intent
Base Solutions Limited is committed to protecting the environment. We seek opportunities to reduce our environmental impact and we are committed to minimising waste and pollution arising from our activities.
Our commitment is to:

Ensure Base Solutions Limited operates in compliance with environmental laws and regulations applicable to the activities of the organisation.

Reduce waste according to the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle and to handle and dispose of waste in an environmentally safe and responsible manner.

Source materials and consumables from sustainable resources where practicable.

Continually review business practices to improve our performance through the application of new approaches and technologies to reduce our environmental footprint.
To meet our commitment, we will:

Monitor key objectives and targets for managing our environmental performance at least annually.

Actively promote environmental awareness and management across our client base by encouraging the implementation of environmentally sustainable practices.

Continually promote environmental awareness, responsibility and best practices throughout the organisation through education and in-house activities with a view to reduce our environmental footprint.
Directors are fully committed to this policy and will review and update in accordance with our document retention process.
